Things that are rare, limited and artfully made have an increasing value. That is why the archetypal apartment buildings at Berlins Strausberger Platz, once built as proud "worker palace" type buildings by the east german regime, were not positioned as typical real estate investments but rather as valuable DDR cultural icons. A value that is underscored by a coffeetable book published by gestalten verlag. A value that can be experienced in the carefully curated showroom and apartment.

But then, not all destinations have something so unique and intriguing as the Turkish "Tatil". Among many things Tatil is a sensual experience, a deep feeling of happiness, a mark of pride and excellence... The cool thing: Tatil is also the turkish word for holiday.

Berlin is one of the most dynamic cities in Europe. With more than a billion passengers per year, Berlins public transportation company is one of the main enablers of the capitals urban movement. The launch-campaign of the BVG MetroNetz communicated the benefit of the 24 new bus and tram lines – even more speed for the city and its fast moving inhabitants.

Germany is not known for its good weather. A series of TV commercials for Condor, the German Holiday Airline, showed how to deal with it. The ads were so convincing that people actually inquired how they could enroll in the special bad weather-classes. Each one received a training rain-puddle to practise at home. Awarded by the Art Directors Club.

Bunkers: A piece of the past in the middle of the city. Built with foresight, for protection, to withstand the greatest damage. Today integrated into the cityscape, inconspicuous, undesigned, indestructible monuments. Each bunker patiently waiting, for a new task, a new owner who will free it from its old burden, fill it with life and rewrite history. People who are looking for something special, who are attracted by the strength of the rugged "brute" and are not deterred by the challenges.
